Entry Fee to see the Pyramids

We climbed a long way up to get to the entrance of this Pyramid, only one of the 3 you see in the photos allow entry.

We are leaving our tour of the inside of this Pyramid, it is the one of the 3 Pyramids of Giza we were allowed in.  What a struggle to get inside; you down several feet along these narrow planks, it's barely enough room for 2 people to stand side by side (people are coming and going so you sometimes have to turn sideways to let the person pass), then you walk up several more feet and then you are there!  But, there is a empty room that was once the tomb of a pharaohs.  By no means was it a disappointment, it was an incredible feeling to be inside.  However, if you are claustrophobic or have breathing problems inside ain't the place for you!

Outside the Papyrus Institute where you can buy authentic papyrus art, they even show you how the papyrus paper is made and how to tell if it is authentic or not.  We bought a few items that will be displayed proudly in our home; guess you have to come over to see them.

One of the many Egyptians that hang around tourist attractions that want you to give them money for whatever you are willing to pay them for, in this case to take a picture with him; I didn't ask him he offered and then wanted me to pay him.  Bring lots of $1.00 bills for such opportunities.
