What is really interesting about the temples in Egypt, is that you see a lot of the statues destroyed or dismantled, but its not all due to the natural elements it was done on purpose by subsequent kings and their followers. Everything in the The Temples of Karnak was built on a gigantic scale and it is really a complex of many temples, the main structure is the Temple of Amun.
